History of BAHNER stocking
The Bahner family brought the Saxon stocking tradition and textile technology to Lauingen. In November 1948, Karl Bahner founded the company "Süddeutsche Wirkerei und Strickerei". With the extra-long flat knitting machines, the production of nylon stockings was started and was successful right from the start. Jörg Bahner later established bi-stockings and bi-knitwear as the Bi brand and managed it until 1997. The focus was on a clear collection of support items with a fashionable look and effective support for consumers. Today, BAHNER Strumpf GmbH offers knee support stockings, thigh support stockings and support pantyhose from 20 denier to 140 denier in fashionable colors in 3 support classes. On January 1st, 2010, Florian Bahner took over the 14th generation of the Bahner Strumpf GmbH. 14 generations: that goes back a long way.
Despite tough competition, the Bahner family has always had a common motto for their hosiery production:
Not the most, but the best! Florian Bahner has also set himself this goal by developing support stockings of the highest quality, which cannot be distinguished from fine stockings due to their transparent appearance, and still do a lot for the health of the legs - especially for people who sit, walk or stand frequently or for long periods.
